Account and Data Deletion

FLMPK account deletion is the process for removing your account and associated personal data; cancelling an app-store subscription is a separate step.

Delete your FLMPK account

You can initiate deletion in the FLMPK app:

1. Open Profile.
2. Open Account.
3. Choose Delete account.
4. Follow the confirmation steps.

If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account with the subject “Delete my FLMPK account”. If you cannot access that address, explain this without sending passwords, store credentials, full payment-card details or unnecessary identity documents.

What happens next

We may ask for proportionate information to verify that you control the account. We will ask promptly where verification is reasonably required.

Deletion normally covers account and authentication data controlled by FLMPK; language and territory choices; favourites, likes, dislikes, watched and hidden titles; search filters and Benton controls; recommendation results and related account-linked session state; optional account-linked analytics where applicable; and other account-linked records that are no longer required.

We will instruct relevant processors to delete account-linked personal data where required. Some information may be retained where lawfully necessary for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal claims, compliance, suppression of unwanted communications, or proof that a deletion request was completed.

Data remaining in isolated backups will not be returned to ordinary use and will expire under the verified backup cycle. If a backup is restored, applicable deletion instructions must be reapplied.

We will acknowledge the request, tell you the expected completion time, and confirm what was deleted. If information is retained, we will explain the category, reason and applicable period or criterion. If a processor action remains outstanding, we will explain its status.

Subscription cancellation is separate

Deleting your FLMPK account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription through the same store account used to purchase it.

Cancelling a store subscription does not delete your FLMPK account. Use both processes if you want to stop renewal and delete the account.

Requests for another person

If you are a parent, guardian or authorised representative contacting us for someone else, identify the account and explain your authority. We may verify the account holder or your authority proportionately before acting.

If you believe a child has provided personal data contrary to FLMPK’s account rules, email [email protected]. We will investigate and take appropriate action.
