Privacy Policy
Effective: 17 September 2026
FLMPK Ltd ("FLMPK", "we", "us") provides the FLMPK mobile application and website. This policy explains what personal data we process, why we process it, who receives it, and the choices available to you. FLMPK does not sell personal data and does not use it for third-party advertising.
1. Who controls your data
FLMPK Ltd, company number 17350510, registered in England and Wales, is the controller of personal data processed through FLMPK. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to [email protected].
2. Data we collect
- Account and profile data: email address, account identifier, profile name where supplied, verification status and onboarding state.
- Taste and activity data: favourite, saved, hidden and watched titles; ratings or reactions; imported history; lists; taste-profile answers; dislikes; Benton mood and constraint selections; recommendation results and related interactions.
- Search and catalogue activity: searches, titles or people opened, and actions taken on catalogue results where the service retains them.
- Subscription data: product, purchase, renewal, cancellation, restore and entitlement status supplied by Apple, Google and RevenueCat. FLMPK does not receive your full payment-card details.
- Territory and technical data: country or territory used for catalogue availability, app version, device/platform information, security events and server logs needed to operate and protect the service.
- Support communications: information you send when asking for help, reporting a problem or exercising a legal right.
3. How and why we use data
- create, secure and administer your account;
- build your taste profile and provide personalised recommendations;
- save your choices, lists, history and settings across devices;
- show relevant streaming availability for your territory;
- process subscriptions, restores and access entitlements;
- send essential verification, account, security and service messages;
- diagnose faults, prevent abuse and maintain the service; and
- comply with law and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
These uses rely, as applicable, on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting FLMPK, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Service providers and data sources
We use contracted providers to run FLMPK, including hosting and infrastructure services, Resend for transactional email, and RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management. Apple and Google process store purchases under their own privacy terms. Film metadata and streaming-availability providers supply catalogue information to FLMPK; the current design does not send them your consumer taste profile, favourites or viewing history.
Providers may process limited data on our behalf only to supply their service, protect it, or meet legal obligations. If a future integration changes this, we will update this policy and the relevant store privacy declarations before releasing that change.
5. Sharing, advertising and tracking
We do not sell personal data. We do not permit third-party behavioural advertising in FLMPK and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We may disclose data to service providers, professional advisers, regulators or law-enforcement bodies where properly required, or as part of a lawful corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as adequacy regulations, approved contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
7. Retention
We keep account and personalisation data while your account is active and only as long afterwards as needed for deletion, security, dispute handling or legal compliance. When an account is deleted, FLMPK removes or de-identifies the personal data it controls, subject to limited records that must be kept for legal, financial, fraud-prevention or security reasons. Residual encrypted backups are isolated from normal use and expire under the applicable backup schedule.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect data, including authenticated access controls, encrypted transport and restricted operational access. No service can guarantee absolute security; please use a strong, unique password and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to or receive a portable copy of your data, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. See Privacy Choices for the available routes. UK users may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
10. Account deletion
You can start deletion in the FLMPK app or follow the instructions at Delete Account. Deleting a FLMPK account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google; store cancellation is a separate action.
11. Cookies and device storage
The website currently uses only storage necessary to operate and protect the site. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See our Cookies notice.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when FLMPK, its providers or the law changes. The current version will appear here with its effective date, and material changes will be brought to your attention where required.
